Job Description

We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Advanced Analytics to join Procore's Advanced Analytics team, part of the Enterprise AI/ML team within our Data, Technology, and Security organization.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned people manager with a background in applied statistics, or a similar quantitative field. We are looking for someone with a solid analytics background who is comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, has experience leading and working with cross-functional teams, and can communicate data-driven insights to senior leaders effectively. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Advanced Analytics and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

• Lead a talented team of data scientists/analysts in the Advanced Analytics team, focusing on extracting insights from Procore's extensive data
• Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to mine actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
• Act as a thought partner to senior leaders to identify business opportunities and partner on solutions, ensuring clarity of communication and strategic alignment on analytics initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with Corporate Strategy, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams to ensure alignment and leverage synergies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and uplevel team's craftsmanship in Advanced Analytics techniques and approaches
• Create intuitive analytics insights, build data science solutions, provide business recommendations, and measure the impact
• This individual will report directly to the Sr. Director, Advanced Analytics, and play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business initiatives through detailed data analysis, statistical modeling, and the development of reporting tools and metrics

What we're looking for:

• A degree in a quantitative field (economics, statistics, math, data science, etc)
• 8+ years experience in a related field with deep technical expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytics tools
• Strong technical background in statistics, measurement, experimentation, modeling, SQL, R/Python
• Experience leveraging statistical methodologies, including predictive modeling, to drive business outcomes
• A minimum of 3 years as a people manager leading a team
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner, and storytelling capabilities when presenting
• Experience influencing strategy through data-centric presentations
• Ability and familiarity to understand and operate in an Agile development team environment
• Experience in SaaS is preferred

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $154,000 - $211,750. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
