The Senior Manager oversees a team who facilitates delivery of commercial spares to Collins Aerospace Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul facilities and external customers.

The Senior Manager establishes robust control and reporting systems, liaises with all facets of Supply Chain and other functional groups such as Planning, Distribution, Production, Engineering in support of on-time delivery of high-quality products to customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with value stream leaders and spearhead the development of monthly spares consumption needs using the business forecast, inventory position, customer orders and the defined capacity parameters.
• Develop and implement robust control and reporting systems to monitor progress against plans and business metrics.
• Identify and manage step down priorities across the broader demand stream.
• Support to Collins Aftermarket business segments regarding supplier performance.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain sub-functions to deliver customer needs.
• Be the point of contact to the Value Stream Leader in support of spares deliverables to customers.
• Formulate and deliver supplier shortages, develop Line Of Balance sheets, root cause and corrective actions, supplier recovery plans.
• Maintain and exceed customer service levels and mitigate turnaround time penalties.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries such as supplier delivery commitment and delivery status updates.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aerospace experience
• Supply chain or front-line operations experience
• Data analysis and database experience managing large data sets
• Experience improving operational or supply chain performance
• SAP experience
