The Asset Management and Risk Program Coordinator is accountable for establishing and driving program governance for all existing and future AM & Risk programs, both within J&J operated facilities and with key third-party engagements. This includes supporting assigned acquisition and divestiture activities along with ensuring integration of key programs into the scope for large scale project delivery at both new and existing facilities.

In this role, you would serve as the main coordinator for the AM and Risk governance council which includes supporting the development and distribution of quarterly performance dashboard across both sectors and all applicable Supply Chain functions within J&J. In addition, this opportunity will take the lead on handling established Asset Management programs while supporting development of programs and initiatives as the need arises to help mitigate risk across our Supply Chain.

A suitable candidate for this role will have experience in the development, management, and governance of our E&PS Risk programs along with strong customer & vendor management experience including oversight of facility capital management with strategic third-party relationships.

Key relationships include leading outsourced vendors and establishing clear lines of engagement with all E&PS Facility Leaders & regional leadership teams in addition to key partnerships with all functions with E&PS and EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety).

Key responsibilities:

  • Serves as document controller for all Asset, Risk and Compliance standards which includes leading all aspects of the periodic review process and change control process
  • Responsible for completing semi-annual program scoping analysis in collaboration with Real Estate and Facility Management teams.
  • Handle third party compliance in accordance with J&J Asset Management and compliance standards. This includes coordination of various site assessments and/or led self-assessments.
  • Coordinate facility capital investments with strategic external partnerships in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead key vendor relationships to support current and future engagements and initiatives.
  • Responsible for coordinating the ARC (Asset Risk & Compliance) exemption and issue process to ensure between E&PS and the applicable business leadership teams.
  • Lead annual ARC dashboard program and risk readiness/preparedness reviews to ensure risk programs and criteria remain relevant to a continually evolving risk landscape.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the AM & Risk COE and EH&S to maintain and improve established technical & safety standards and programs such as ESSP (Electrical Systems Safety Program), BSP (Boiler Safety Program) and Legionella
  • Responsible for improving the knowledge management process in relation to the AM life cycle framework and associated governing standards to support adoption and understanding of foundational asset management principles.
  • Ensure integration of the AM body of knowledge into the J&J Learning Management System(s) via formal training curriculums covering all roles within the E&PS organization.


Actively work towards collaboration between all levels and functions within E&PS to support a "ONE" E&PS approach.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental studies, etc. or relevant experience required


Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

Required:

  • Confirmed experience supporting asset management
  • Robust knowledge of all current J&J ARC programs
  • Experienced in development and deployment of risk management programs
  • Consistent record of accomplishment in successfully handling key partner relationships (both internal and external)
  • Strong management and technical skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization including senior leaders
  • Ability to adapt emerging trends and industry innovations
  • Digital literacy, including a solid understanding of MS Office suite


Preferred:

  • Proven knowledge in leading third-party capital management programs
  • Detailed success in leading development of new risk and governance programs
  • Strong experience in leading various global EH&S, facilities, and risk programs


Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus
