The Senior Manager, GS Finance TransAct Deployment is responsible for leading the global implementation of a cross-functional roadmap designed to advance the Global Services organization through delivery of foundational and accelerating initiatives. This role will partner closely within Project SigniFi. Project SigniFi is our Finance Transformation project, and this person will have a leadership role in that transformation.

The Senior Manager, GS Finance TransAct Deployment role will partner with our GS Finance leads to ensure that we have an integrated approach to technology and process transformation deployments. This role reports directly to the GS Finance TransAct Director, partners with key stakeholders, including GS leadership and cross-functional partners and is accountable for program delivery including team leadership, value realization tracking, governance, and stakeholder management.

The leader will enable the standardized core business capabilities and processes across the finance functions and business units within the ERP. This will be enabled by partnering across the key stakeholder groups to gain a deep understanding of as-is business needs/capabilities, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through the various programs. This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional toolset of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of business stakeholders and global process owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.

This role is responsible for providing quality review, governance, and oversight of the TransAct project deliverables for GS. Additionally, this role will provide oversight and coordination with and across workstream leads, lead strategy execution, initiative development, investment recommendations, and assists with establishing the run state of all initiatives.

This role is cross-functional, cross-region in nature and requires strong partnerships with Global Services Functional and Corporate IT partners to design, develop, and implement new solutions inclusive of business outcomes and KPIs. Must embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi-cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

TransAct Corporate Deployment - Process Execution

• Lead the GS core team in planning and implementation of the program including mobilization, deployment, and effectiveness of workstreams and interfaces.

• Lead GS deployment activities that may include conversation execution and reconciliation, master data load and validation, confirm understanding of process, process fit/gaps, business simulation testing, user acceptance testing, training, process adoption and transition to run state.

• Develop and drive adherence to program governance model.

• Partners with GS cross-functional capabilities to determine optional support model including scope of services, resources, and funding strategy. Ensures optimized and effective leverage and delivery of cross-functional support.

• Coach and provide program core team guidance on day-to-day roles and delivery.

• Ensure rigorous identification and management of interdependencies external to program.

Strategic and Operational Planning, Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead GS communication and engagement around the program, including identification and management of key stakeholders.

• Develop the strategic roadmap for GS and gain business alignment including integration to other strategic initiatives outside of the program.

• Ensure integrated end to end roadmap across people, process, technology dimensions with clear and robust deployment plans.

• Develop and implement sustainable run state and service infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or Accounting
  • Preferred Area of Study: Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology
  • Required Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 10 Years
  • Demonstrated leadership experience designing and implementing large scale programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in indirect management, managing internal relationships, coaching and collaboration skills, with leaders at all levels and key stakeholders required.
  • SAP S/4 experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years progressive process design, continuous improvement, transformation experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills, operates as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences required.
  • The ability to develop high performing teams and lead in a matrixed environment is required.
  • Mastery and a proven track record of leading through global, competing complexities is required.
  • Effective and strong partnership and relationship building skills with key stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and strong presentation skills; can speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audience.
  • Must have a collaborative approach, the ability to connect, and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • This position may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
