Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance, the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting provides support and analysis of strategic and financial plans. This is a highly visible position, in which the candidate will interact with Senior Executive Management and the Board of Directors, with opportunity for upward mobility.
Essential Responsibilities:

Primary job responsibility is assistance and management of preparation for monthly / quarterly financial reporting; annual financial, pensi on and 401(k) audit processes; and ad hoc support and reporting responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Participates in and is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of internal and external consolidated financial reporting packages
- Analyzes and reports on financial results, including preparation of monthly management discussion and analysis for consolidated financial reporting
- Performs research and provides technical accounting guidance for all business units, including preparation of whitepapers on accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible for evaluating new accounting standards and implementing necessary changes in policies, procedures and infrastructure company-wide
- Provides support for quarterly management operations reviews, Board of Director meetings, and strategic plan reviews.
- Participate in special projects such as process improvement initiatives, system implementations.
- Works closely with business unit CFOs and accounting teams on accounting issues and reporting
- Works closely with outside consultants as it relates to company valuations, pension, 401(k), etc.
- Oversee the annual GAAP financial statement and benefit plan audits, including coordinating with the business units and preparation of the consolidated financial statements
- Manages financial and operational planning, projection and budgeting processes, including data management, analysis and reporting.
- Provides support and assistance with due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions
- Supports Tax, Treasury and Strategic Operations Departments on an as-needed basis
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
- Experience: 5 - 7 years of public accounting experience or combined experience in public accounting and corporate financial reporting
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerBI & PowerQuery a plus)
- C ertificates & Licenses: CPA License required (Big 4 or large regional firm is preferred)
