The Global Supply Chain and Transportation Procurement (GSCTP) team is at the center of driving risk reduction and compliance monitoring. We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead GSCTP's Program Management Office (PMO) compliance-risk pillar which supports both defect elimination (off manifest reduction), SOX controls and partners with World Wide Social Responsibility (WWSR) to implement new due diligence strategies across the 3P network.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead a global team of Program Managers, and provide strategic direction, content oversight and a positive work environment.

- Lead organization wide mechanisms like business reviews, resource, and operational planning processes.

- Consult with partner team leadership to determine program prioritization, while sourcing and coordinating resources.

- Organize and structure project teams to deliver and execute program milestones.

- Proactively monitor progress against goals while anticipating and mitigating risks, creating and owning solutions, and successfully resolving issues.

- Act as a subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge to guide the establishment of new processes and systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of team management experience

- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience

- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 7+ years of managing teams experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery

- Experience managing teams of 6 or more

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
