JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
  • Lead a technical organization to enable business development efforts across all Operating Companies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with OpCo business leaders to understand their needs and deliver rapid business solution alternatives.
  • Leverage business acumen to develop and execute engineering and marketing strategies that maximize Operating Company revenue growth opportunities.


JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Planning and directing technical teams to maximize Operating Company growth opportunities by:
  • Developing engineering solutions that influence large commercial/industrial load growth in a positive manner.
  • Communicating and coordinating capital spending requirements for large commercial/industrial customer projects with Entergy Finance.
  • Providing Project Management support on large commercial/industrial customer projects to ensure predictable work flow transition to multiple cross functional workgroups.
  • Developing prompt engineering responses and corrective action strategies to support Managed Account reliability initiatives.
  • Providing oversight and reporting over Entergy's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies that effectively promote Entergy's products and services.
  • Providing the Program Management needed to operate/maintain the Buildings and Sites database and ad hoc GIS-based mapping initiatives.
  • Providing the Program Management needed to create/maintain site development programs and site certification programs.
  • Continuously evaluating new technology and leveraging that technology to advance tools, products and service offerings.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA preferred


Minimum experience required of the position
  • 12+ years experience in energy/utility Engineering or Project Management.
    • 5+ years experience in Customer facing role.
    • 5+ years experience in Leadership roles.
  • 1+ years experience in Marketing concepts/application preferred.


Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
  • Team oriented, positive, proactive mindset with a strong results orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in project management roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. In depth understanding of utility regulation and RFPs.


Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position
  • Project Management Professional certification desired.
