Job Description

About the Role:

Be a lead reviewer on certain areas of the Dynamic Audit Solution and OnPoint Employee Benefit Plan applications to support the quality assurance process related to the development of those applications, and any other products developed by the department, to ensure that the products are fit for purpose, and meet both external and internal requirements, including all technical standards. Communicate such findings to the methodology lead and other DAS or OnPoint development team members. Also provide other related support to the Senior Director and Associate Director - Audit Methodology, Guidance, & QA.

You Will:
  • Perform detailed QA reviews to ensure that products comply with relevant technical standards and fit for purpose, bringing QA reviews and auditing experience to the QA function. Develop controls and documentation of procedures.
  • Identify issues and concerns related to compliance with standards and functionality of the apps driving such compliance.
  • Communicate findings to appropriate partners from the performance of the QA reviews in an understandable way and manage resolution of the matters identified.
  • Investigate problems and develop dispositions and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
  • Develop detailed understanding of the applications to ensure ongoing evaluations.
  • Evaluate and monitor tools, methodologies, and automation to ensure testing and identification of defects.
  • Support the efforts to create, establish and manage the quality system, including policies, procedures, standards, and recordkeeping systems following relevant quality standards.

You Have:
  • CPA
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of public accounting or relevant experience that delivers understanding of the accounting profession and auditing/assurance services and quality control processes
  • Working knowledge of the audit and accounting standards (AICPA, PCAOB, and FASB), including the ethics, quality control, and peer review standards
  • Knowledge of auditing/assurance services
  • Knowledge in QCM and/or peer reviews
