-The Contract Services Team ("CST") in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) group is seeking an innovative and analytical candidate for the role of Sr. Manager, Revenue Operational Excellence. This role will influence and implement large scale technology initiatives and strategy and lead the end-to-end delivery for AMSD product solutions.

-This person will spearhead the development, design, and automation of internal and external applications to optimize global content distribution processes. They will identify benefits and challenges and employ strategic thinking to manage complex efforts and decisions, define clear objectives, remove blockers, and manage escalations.

-The role will be trusted to present decisions to leaders, understanding trade-offs for achieving long-term goals through best practices. Establish clear procedures and guidelines and communicate across diverse roles and functions. They will encourage constructive dialogue to resolve challenging issues. The position will deliver independently but work with internal and external partners to influence technology and process decisions, prioritizing tasks as business strategies evolve. Expected to exhibit backbone, dissent, commitment, and respectful challenge in decision-making processes.

Key job responsibilities

-\tBuild business requirements for data integration across several AMSD 1P and 3P applications and replacement of legacy systems.

-\tTake ownership of the lifecycle of complex technology initiatives to improve business efficiency and ensure adherence to compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

-\tDrive global cross-team collaboration, prioritize tasks based on business judgement.

-\tSimplify processes, eliminate redundancies, and champion change to drive automation to scale.

-\tEnsure seamless process integrations, enforce data policies, implement data quality governance with product managers.

-\tDefine success metrics and KPI's to drive informed decisions.

-\tDemonstrated flexibility and success in fast-paced, ambiguous work environments.

-\tActively mentor and develop teammates through continuous action that inspires learning and inventing.

About the team

The Contract Services Team ("CST") in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) team is responsible for global deal management of 1P and 3P content licensing to SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, EST, Pay, and Free/Basic channels and platforms in over 200 markets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-\tBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

-\t5+ years of relevant work experience in program management, process improvement in a large-scale global sales or distribution environment.

-\tAdvanced level Excel skills and working knowledge of the Salesforce Lightning platform.

-\tExperience using data to drive process improvements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-\tMBA or a background in program management in a global content distribution organization.

-\t15+ years of relevant work experience in program management, process improvement in a large-scale global sales or distribution environment.

-\tProficiency in training and coaching others globally.

-\tExperience in media supply chain management.

-\tProficient in data interpretation and providing actionable business recommendations.

-\tEffective communication with business and technical teams, verbally and in writing.

-\tAbility to work in cross-functional teams to influence stakeholders.

-\tDemonstrated capacity to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively.

-\tAbility to succeed amidst ambiguity and manage changing and competing priorities.

-\tProficiency in owning program strategy, communicating results to senior leadership.

-\tStrong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
