Engage in transfer pricing dispute resolution such as Advanced Pricing Agreement ("APA") between Japan and the U.S., which includes establishing APA strategy by coordinating with KPMG Japan, preparing APA submission, responding the IRS' due diligence questions, supporting Competent Authority ("CA") meeting, and reviewing APA agreement. Conduct transfer pricing planning considering tax areas affected by the transfer pricing such as trade and customs and Mexican maquiladora. Lead transfer pricing engagements, by coaching managers and staff. Assume responsibility for the resourcing and budgetary metrics of transfer pricing engagements. Serve as a subject matter expert on complex transfer pricing matters. Identify business development opportunities, specifically for Japanese companies operating in the U.S. and respond to requests for proposal.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Advanced Pricing Agreements, U.S. Transfer Pricing Regulations; and International transfer pricing.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in 1 of the following areas: Transfer pricing studies; Financial statement analysis; Quantitative and competitive analysis; Statistical sampling and econometrics; or Operational performance analysis.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 20% is required.
