As a Senior Manager, Technical Production for VALORANT's Foundations Area, you will lead the area in delivering high quality solutions to some of VALORANT's most challenging technical challenges. You will oversee the delivery of features and improvements across multiple teams, spanning game services capabilities to game engine and tools. As a key member of the area's leadership team, you will work with your area leadership peers and VALORANT senior leadership to ensure your area's goals are aligned with VALORANT's needs. You will also lead production staff across the initiative, being accountable that work and teams have what's needed to deliver against strategic priorities. You will report to VALORANT's Operations Director.

Responsibilities
- Own the area work system for teams (rituals, tracking, reporting, and partner management) and the area leadership team
- Directly manage the team level Producers in the area, coaching them on craft and career
- Assess the organization's maturity, health, and composition and improve any identified areas for improvement
- Collaborate with area leadership peers (engineering leader and technical product manager) to set direction for the area
- Represent area direction and capabilities to VALORANT leadership
- Partner with area leaders across VALORANT to ensure the game's strategic priorities are met
- Partner with leaders across Riot's platform teams to deliver against VALORANT and Riot's strategic priorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large teams
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing leaders of teams
- Experience applying Agile or Lean development methodologies at scale
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with SRE, DevOps, or software operations engineering teams
- Experience working with teams building software tools or engines for game developers
- Experience working with teams building software for backend services or build infrastructure
- Experience in game development or a good understanding of how artists, engineers, and game designers build assets and game features for a modern game

- (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $196,900.00 - $275,200.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
