Key Responsibilities:

The primary role of the Senior Manager - UAX Analysis is to develop strategic analyses and reporting and measurement mechanisms for all levels of the organization and for our flying partners. This role reports directly to the Director- UAX Planning and is responsible for developing analyses and insights in conjunction with the UAX leadership team and other United departments (i.e., Airport Operations, Technical Operations, etc.) to drive actionable and measurable improvements within the UAX organization. Additionally, this person will provide leadership, mentoring and training to all levels and functions on the use and practice of using data to drive decision making, root cause analysis and problem solving.

  • Partners with UAX functional teams and UAX flying partners to find opportunities for improvement, gather and analyze information and data and develop improvement opportunities across the operation
  • Develops new analytic methods, reports and data to improve the operational and commercial performance of our flying partners
  • Drives problem solving and process improvement activities to help streamline reporting, analysis, and measurement functions across UAX
  • Develops end-to-end executive level communications for high level report outs on strategy and operation performance

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or related subject area involving quantitative analysis
  • 7+ years' work experience
  • 2+ years of people management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Project Management
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization software
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Ability to manipulate large datasets and create significant business insights
  • Ability to lead large cross-functional teams to drive business results
  • Able to lead and motivate a remote team on a different time zone
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
