A client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and other related applications.
2. Participate in executing tenant to tenant migration strategies for Microsoft 365 services.
3. Implement and manage security and compliance features within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
4. Troubleshoot complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services and provide escalation support.
5. Develop and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and best practices.
6. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Microsoft 365 with existing systems and applications.
7. Stay current with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and industry best practices.
8. Participate in project planning and execution for Microsoft 365-related initiatives.
9. Conduct regular system health checks and performance optimizations.

Compensation:
$45/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Capability Requirements:
1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft technologies and cloud services.
2. Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
3. Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and technologies.
4. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Microsoft 365 services.
5. Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Rights Management (IRM), and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
6. Solid understanding of networking concepts and their application in cloud environments.
7. Experience with hybrid configurations and directory synchronization (Azure AD Connect).
8. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and mobile device management concepts.
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and its integration capabilities.
10. Experience with Microsoft 365 governance and adoption strategies.
11. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues across various Microsoft 365 services.
12. Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
13. Experience with third-party tools that integrate with Microsoft 365 (e.g., cybersecurity platforms, backup solutions, monitoring tools).
14. Strong project management and documentation skills.

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
