Senior .Net Core/Azure Cloud Developer (Backend, not a Frontend (Javascript/Html) job)

Overall Accountabilities

Responsible for researching, designing and coding business application software.

Ability to transform business requirements/Agile Stories into system requirements

Experience mentoring and leading other development team members

Experience in with Agile processes and procedures

Micro-services architecture with a basic understanding of Domain Driven Design

Development Accountabilities

Strong understanding of Azure Cloud native, auto-scale, elastic infrastructure and design

Experience with Azure Application and PAAS Services: App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Notification Engine, Key Vault, Security APIs

Experience with Azure AD and multi-tenant environments

Good understanding of Web Authentication and authorization methods: MSAL, Oauth2, OpenID

Extensive experience building Web applications with C# with .Net Core. Entity Framework for the primary development language-platform

Experience with GraphQL a plus

Experience with Azure Storage Solutions including Blob, Azure File Services and access controls

Understand and experience with WebServices and REST

Strong experience working with SqlServer or other relational databases

Experience developing with CosmosDB - NoSQL documents

Some knowledge and experience integrating with React, Angular, Vue javascript libraries

Devops Accountabilities

Azure Devops tools for Pipelines and CI/CD

Ensure all development and releases are perfromed is in a controlled DEVOPs environment

Ensure cloud, application and information security are a central consideration for all development efforts

Some knowledge/experience with Azure Networking, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoutes

Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Teraform, ARM, Bicep, etc

Required Skills : • 4+ year of Core .Net/C# development. This is backend development, not front end • Extensive experience building Web applications with C# with .Net Core. Entity Framework for the primary development language-platform • Understand and experience with WebServices and REST • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud native, auto-scale, elastic infrastructure and design ( **Note:Would consider someone with another cloud tool, but Azure highly preferred!) • Experience with DevOps tools for pipeline and CI/CD
