Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Full Stack Engineers with experience developing and building strong, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture using SQL Server, C#, SQL, Angular JS, Azure, JavaScript and .Net Framework.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from planning and prioritizing to testing and release.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software to ensure efficient performance.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to standards.
• Implement software solutions that are secure scalable and maintainable.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide technical solutions to complex problems.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Document development processes code changes and other technical information.
• Communicate optimally with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
Qualifications
• Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server, C#, SQL, Angular JS, Azure, JavaScript and .Net Framework.
• Have a proven track record of developing high-quality software applications.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Show strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Exhibit a proactive approach to learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.
• Have experience in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Be able to mentor and guide junior developers effectively.
• Display a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Location: Chicago, IL or Remote

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 8/31/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
