Position Type: W2 Contract

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience

Location: Austin, TX

• Support the design and build of any deliverables that are developed during the Contract period
• Undertake knowledge transfer to Solution Architects so that client can continue all activities related to the creation of the Key Deliverables noted in the section below after the Contract is over
• Support the documentation of any deliverables that are developed during the Contract period
• Support the Testing of any solutions that are developed during the Contract period
• Support the Deployment of any solutions that are implemented during the Contract period

Discover requirements for Firewall migration.

• Discover rulesets of existing Juniper devices using Juniper Space or NSM.

• Discover and validate existing network topology via admin toolsets and existing documentation.

Document and schedule parallel install and migration.

• Document blueprint for standard plant security segmentation from existing implementations and existing client standards.

• Work with DS Architecture, ISO, DS Network, and Telecom teams to develop validate diagrams and documentation for each sites migration in accordance with client's ADM process.

• Working with client Operational Technology and Change Management teams, schedule work for implementation and migration.

Implementation/installation/migration

• Implement any devices required by the design during the change window.

• Implement management of devices correct management tools.

• Implement Firewall rulesets.

• Test rulesets.

• Cutover traffic to new infrastructure.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Key Supplier personnel should be proficient in the following skills:

Cisco routing and switching.

Cisco IOS and NX-OS.

Cisco and Juniper firewalls plus common management platforms.

Cisco UCS/Flexpod/VMware.

Designing and documenting data center, campus, and branch networks.

Dynamic mapping and discovery tools.

IPAM solutions and integrations.

Excellent verbal communications to support effective knowledge transfer.

Excellent written communications to support effective documentation.

Must pass LCRA background check and take online client NERC/CIP certification course.
