TIAG is hiring a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team supporting our government customers in Norfolk, VA. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start work. This position reports on-site up to 3x per week.

Position Responsibilities:

• Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPsec, VPNs, DNS, IP Management, IPS, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
• Complete tasking as assigned by the departmental ticketing system for tracking of actions/issues/problems/resolutions
• Ensure all devices are utilizing TACACS/RADIUS and offloading logs to SIEM
• Track and monitor licensing requirements for all network devices
• Track and monitor EOL/EOS of all network devices and recommend when replacements are required
• Ensure quarterly STIG review occurs of all network devices
• Perform ACAS and evaluate scan results
• Submit change requests and schedule maintenance windows to patch based on patch releases from vendors
• Develop and update SOPs and other documentation supporting workflow for recurring operations/sustainment/integration
• Create and/or update network diagrams as necessary
• Maintain Ports/Protocols/Services tables as necessary
• Maintain Patch Matrix to include labeling of cabling
• Maintain IP/VLAN Schema (issuance and maintenance)
• Support circuit registration and provide data required to register in SNAP
• Conduct periodic network device backups
• Execute cabling and cable cleanup efforts
• Experience with DISA and commercial vendors implementing circuits
• Support Incident Response initiatives by providing SME role for all network devices
• Collaborate with on-site team to distribute workload and support mission requirements
• Proactively ensure environment and mission requirements are being met and/or exceeded

Required Experience:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering or similar preferred
• An Information Assurance certification in compliance with DoD 8570 (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP) (IAT Level II) is required
• CCNA and/or CCNP certifications preferred
• Experience with Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto highly desired
