Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Firewall Operation Firewall Implementation AWS Firewall Manager Google Firewalls and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls. This role will involve designing implementing and managing security solutions to protect our organizations digital assets.
Responsibilities
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. Skills in network automation tools and scripting languages like Python Ansible. Excellent communication skills especially when explaining complex technical concepts to those who might not be as tech savvy. Experience with escalation management and root cause analysis. Certifications in Palo Alto Networks PCNSE Google Cloud GCP or similar. Experience working in an Agile environment. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools like SolarWinds. A background in network security consulting or acting as a network security concierge.
Implement robust firewall solutions including Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall AWS Firewall Manager Google Firewalls.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide expert guidance on firewall policies and configurations to enhance network security.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organizations operations.
Develop and enforce security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive information. As Senior Network Security Engineer you will be the go-to person for managing firewall requests DNS requests and VPN (IPsec and Global Protect) configurations. Your focus will be on getting these tasks done promptly and securely with an eye toward automating where possible to keep things running smoothly. You will work closely with product teams to understand what they need and turn those requirements into secure practical network solutions. As the primary contact for network security questions you will ensure initiatives succeed by providing expert advice and support.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000.00 - $1116,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
