Senior Pharmacy Technician - Remote in Illinois or Iowa

As a Pharmacy Technician - Home Delivery, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Billing and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery
• Assist the Billing team with support, training, and process improvements
• Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
• Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound pharmacy, doctor, patient and insurance calls
• Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
• Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
• Acts as a technical resource to others in own function
• Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
• Solves moderately complex problems on own
• Works with team to solve complex problems
• Plans, prioritizes, organizes and completes work to meet established objectives
• Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction
• Extensive work experience within own function
• Works independently
• May coordinate activities of others

Required Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification or Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence
• 6+ months of pharmacy or healthcare experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
