We have an exciting Senior Physician Recruiter opportunity to join our growing Physician Recruitment team. We currently have two Senior Physician Recruiter open positions - this specific position is a remote role (can be based and work remotely anywhere in the U.S.) with expectations to occasionally travel to our clinical sites, currently in CA, IL, AZ, GA and attend specialty recruitment events.

This remote Senior Physician Recruiter is responsible for the physician recruitment process at City of Hope's IL, AZ, GA locations. These are current locations with expectations that future growth may expand the City of Hope enterprise needs. We are looking for a highly qualified and expert level physician recruiter and sourcer who will be responsible for the physician recruitment process of his/her assigned client groups and areas in a variety of specialties. This position will be defining and executing a sourcing strategy, assessing cultural and role fit of candidates in collaboration with executive physician and administrative leadership. In addition, the Senior Physician Recruiter participates in the development of strategic and comprehensive physician recruitment plans based on market knowledge and in accordance with the needs and goals of the organization. The Senior Physician Recruiter evaluates, develops, and implements projects to continually improve recruitment as well as team processes. A successful candidate should be able to identify and evaluate trends in healthcare recruitment, including location and economic conditions, and develop innovative strategic plans to respond to competitive challenges in the marketplace and adapt sourcing strategies. They will manage the recruitment process to include scheduling and conducting telephone-screening interviews and interviews with the hiring team, coordinating the collection of feedback from candidate interviewers, and facilitating the candidate assessment process and debrief meetings with hiring managers. This position will have significant interaction with executive administration and physician leadership throughout the City of Hope enterprise.



Your qualifications should include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Human Resources (or related). 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
  • Minimum of 4 years of physician recruitment in an academic health care environment, hospital and/or health system, or 5 years of health care recruitment in an academic health care environment.

Preferred Experience and Certification/Licensure:
  • Five (5) years of direct physician recruitment experience in a variety of specialties in an academic health care environment, hospital and/or health system
  • Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP)
  • Prior significant and direct experience with executive administration/physician leadership as it relates to physician recruitment
