Responsibilities:
⢠Support requirements development and management.
⢠Develop subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements.
⢠Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance, and supporting artifacts.
⢠Coordinate and facilitate architecture development of assigned system, subsystems, and components.
⢠Support development and maintenance of interface requirements and interface design information for assigned sub-system, system and components.
⢠Document concept design decisions and support generating System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.
⢠Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies to drive design and document results.
⢠Support the execution and monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk.
⢠Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence the design.
⢠Support vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews.
Skills Required
⢠Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
⢠Bachelorâs degree in engineering and 4+ yearâs relevant experience.
⢠Systems engineering experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints.
⢠Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives.
⢠Ability to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns.
⢠Ability to plan, conduct, and document complex trade studies.
⢠Ability to generate System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per the program statement of work (SOW).
⢠Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skills Preferred
⢠Bachelorâs degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Masterâs degree in Systems Engineering.
⢠Experience with military vehicle systems.
⢠Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases.
⢠Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo.
⢠Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
⢠Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
