Job Description

Summary of the Job:
We are seeking a Leader in the role of senior process engineer to join our team of experts with an overall combined experience of over 450 years among 17 experts working for Director of Global Process Engineering group. This role will work closely with Technical Director-Integrated Projects, within Global Process Engineering Group to successfully implement business and group objectives. The successful candidate possesses strong leadership skills, motivate, and guide regional process engineers, develop design guidance, provide technical trainings, and share experiences as Subject Matter Expert (SME) with process engineers and other multifunctional teams globally.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
  • Establish and guide relationships with Regional process leaders, process engineers and sales for alignment and smooth execution of projects, achieving annual targets.
  • Lead discussions with Regional Process engineers and other team members to drive mutual consensus on clear strategy & path forward for an optimum solution meeting customer need.
  • Lead to deliver technoeconomic modeling for selection of an optimum system.
  • Drive initial process reviews with regional process teams for alignment and leading discussion during final review with Director - GPE team as SME.
  • Document the process reviews with observations, clear action items and path to solution.
  • Develop new /update existing process design guidelines and provide trainings.
  • Share experiences on important technical topics, Pilot/Plant operating data, new competitive technologies with recommendations from GPE platform.
  • Play a key role in technical discussions as SME with Technical Director / Director - GPE on projects along with other SME to advise on technical issues under review.
  • Lead efforts on complex integrated project to recommend creative strategy around
  • Performance test and mitigation plan against business exposure.
  • Develop & maintain operating data base from operating plants to make decision based on experiences from operating plants mitigating business risks & exposure.
  • Deliver expert advice on treatability studies, optimized design options for new projects and for new technologies available in competitive landscape.
  • Lead pilot test plan discussions with extended teams and review/approve operating changes.
  • Analyze & review pilot data and approve technical results / recommendations on pilot reports.
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers supporting Commercial Eng. / Sales to ensure optimum technical solution meeting customer needs.
  • Guide technical peer risk reviews through recommendations on design optimizations in value engineering efforts.
  • Deliver expert opinions / recommendations to project execution team during commissioning, performance tests, data analysis and participate in operator trainings.
  • Lead collaborative efforts among following multifunctional groups but not limited to Technology, Products, CMS and Commercial Engineering for technical alignment.

Education & Experience Required:
  • B.S. in Chemical, Process Engineering, or other equivalent technical discipline.
  • Master's in chemical, Process Engineering, or other equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years engineering experience in the water and wastewater reuse industry out of which minimum of 10-year experience reflects dedicated expertise, with in depth chemistry knowledge, understanding in designing operations and Troubleshooting of complex integrated flowsheet solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate process optimization projects between the internal engineering team and the customer.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)


Preferred:
  • PHD degrees
  • Electro-Separation systems utilizing Electrodialysis (ED), Bipolar Electrodialysis (BPED),
  • Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) and Electro-deionization (EDI) technologies.

Working Conditions
  • Willing to travel internationally and locally up to 15-30%
