Deliver assigned process systems from concept through detailed design, implementation and start up for Capital Projects:

Serve as point of contact and communicate effectively with Engineering, CQV, Quality, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T), Manufacturing, consultants, and contractors, ensuring capital project needs are met.

Generate Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), User Requirements, and Equipment Specifications to inform equipment selection and design.

Attend and execute equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at vendor sites and manufacturing sites.

Perform equipment commissioning through operational readiness, including generation of associated protocols and reports.

Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Logbooks for equipment set up and operation.

Create associated training materials and provide training for manufacturing sites.

Work closely with MS&T to transfer Process Descriptions and perform impact assessment for each product to be deployed in facility.

Deliver per project timelines and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.

Assist with design, procurement, and validation of single-use materials to be used in GMP manufacturing.
• Serve as process equipment primary point of contact for system lifecycle activities
• Perform first line troubleshooting.
• Author quality documentation including deviations, changes controls, and CAPAs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts for process systems.
• Support authoring of regulatory deliverables and content required for inspections.

Skills and Qualifications

BS/MS in Chemical or BioChemical Engineering or related field required

Minimum 2 years of experience in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry

Experience in biopharmaceutical based GCP/GLP/GMP environments

Demonstrated technical project management experience

Up to 20% travel

Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
