We're a team of entrepreneurial-minded individuals, passionate fans, and technologists building something new - with sports fans and streamers at the center. Venu Sports is a forthcoming sports streaming service being built for sports fans that brings together live content from all the major professional sports leagues and top college conferences, in addition to on demand content from leading sports networks, including ESPN, FOX Sports and TNT Sports. Scheduled to launch in the fall of 2024, Venu Sports will be made available directly to consumers via a new app. Subscribers will also have the ability to bundle the product, including with Disney+, Hulu or Max. The future service will be built through a joint venture established by ESPN, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery. Venu Sports will license each of those companies' existing sports channels, providing sports fans an extensive, dynamic lineup of sports content that will cater to sports fans currently outside the pay tv ecosystem. We aspire for Venu Sports to become a one-stop destination for sports fans to easily discover, watch, and engage with their favorite leagues, teams, and players. ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will join the Venu Core Product team and lead a cross-functional team in developing and expanding the core feature set for our TV experiences. You'll help build the strategy, roadmap and requirements for Venu Sports on Living room devices to entertain and delight millions of sports fans with an unparalleled product and content experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES

• Work as part of an autonomous cross-functional and agile team of designers, engineers & analytics colleagues to deliver outstanding products to our customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of the Venu Living Room customer, both existing and potential.
• Own the development of detailed product requirements documents and roadmap of features to accomplish business goals and drive KPIs.
• Define and clearly articulate KPIs, analyze quantitative and qualitative metrics to inform the success of products and align them to needs of the business
• Build relationships and collaborate with external device, platform, and distribution partners to ensure quality, compliance, and maintenance of your product domains.
• Keep abreast of evolving market needs, user opportunities and technology trends to inform product strategies and roadmaps
• Drive product launches, working closely with marketing, customer service, and other teams to ensure successful execution and adoption.
• Work closely with the other product teams to deliver shared and unique member use cases across mobile, web and TV to ensure member needs are addressed holistically across device experiences.
• Ensure timely and clear communications to internal and external stakeholders on tech requirements, development progress and project timelines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 8+ years experience in technology with experience in product management related to OTT devices.
• 2 years managerial experience.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven experience in leading and inspiring cross-functional teams
• Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and flawless execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a product roadmap and experiments with sound judgment in addressing and resolving challenges and opportunities.
• A strong attention to detail, and the ability to take a step back and understand the bigger picture.
• Proven experience understanding customer journeys and dedication to putting the customer first.
• Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion
• Preferred: Deep passion for Live Sports

The formation of the joint venture and launch of Venu Sports is conditional upon receiving regulatory approval.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $121,500.00-230,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
