The Consumables Shopping Experience (CSE) team builds services and features that power the core shopping experience online. The services are based on structured product facts, search query understanding and shopping context awareness. These services support millions of products and customers globally. CSE partners with engineering, science, business and operations teams in Amazon globally to bring these products and services to life. CSE is looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager who will oversee the execution of programs to improve core shopping experiences for Amazon globally.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support a global program and own high visibility projects with substantial internal and external impact. This includes working with multiple teams and disciplines across Amazon to manage global programs that make shopping easy and intuitive. In this role, the Senior Product Manager - Tech will own and manage programs to reduce catalog defects, and enhance data quality to enable CX improvements. The candidate will be responsible for defining the program roadmap, aligning and communicating with Category teams globally, and working with central teams like Catalog, Selling Partner Services, Search and Retail operations to coordinate and ensure timely delivery of milestones. The PM will also be responsible for owning business reviews with the Senior Leadership team.

Key job responsibilities

The responsibilities and skills include:

* Leading global roadmaps and goals in partnership with other product and engineering leaders within and outside the team.

* Learn and be curious: The role will require you to learn quickly and develop an understanding of our core products and services to effectively audit for progress and blockers to deliverables.

* Deep dive and analytical skills: Leading audit for progress on customer experience improvements leveraging data, dashboards, metrics.

* Ability to prioritize and use judgment: The role requires you to manage through competing priorities with high degree of independence, surfacing updates and blockers to senior leadership as needed.

* Global expansion: The role requires you to work with partner teams across the globe to facilitate decisions on where to expand our products and be our key point of contact to support expansion as needed.

* Ability to influence cross-functionally: The role is highly cross functional and you will need to work with several teams in Amazon across technology, business and operations.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills: Communicating updates on team's progress to senior leadership and global audience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree required

- Data analysis, problem solving and project management skills

- Excellent skills in excel or other Business Intelligence or analytical tools.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional products/programs/projects with multiple stakeholders.

- 5+ years in product/program management, driving large-scale, consumer-facing programs and demonstrated results.

- Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

- Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Math, Engineering or Science.

- Experience working with customers, technical teams, business teams and management to collect requirements, oversee roadmap, and drive execution.

- Experience delivering projects in a complex and face-paced environment using agile process

- Experience working closely with engineering teams is a plus.

- Experience in Retail and/or online shopping experience a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
