As the Senior Product Owner (PO), you will play a critical role in shaping the future of technology products offered within our integrated care delivery system, ensuring the creation of maximum value for customers. The PO champions the product, facilitates product/feature decisions, and owns accountability for the product content and releases. The PO serves as the liaison between the agile team (organizational change management experts, IT development resources, and configuration specialists) and stakeholders, including Business Owners and Product Management. The PO ensures the needs and requirements of all stakeholders are addressed and prioritization considerations decisions on their behalf. The PO works continuously with the team, defining and driving product vision, establishing increment and sprint goals, and prioritizing the team’s backlog.

Responsibilities

Primary scope will be focused on clinical operations workflows, as it relates to the EMR product. This scope includes workflows related to the Providers, Medical Assistants, and Care Integration Team (CIT) that operate in the PCO clinics. Scope includes two leading Electronic Medical Records vendors and related technology/features including interfaced and standalone solutions, business process and change management for care delivery support team members. Additionally, the strategic plan and maintenance of supporting system infrastructure and business support processes are in scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In collaboration with Product Management, lead a team of configuration specialists to align vended solution and business need.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, marketing, sales and peers in Clinical and Center Operations Product roles to ensure a coordinated and successful product launch.
  • Define and gather requirements for product development and delivery
  • Create value for both customers and organization while mitigating risk.
  • During product/feature discovery, the PO validates hypotheses by continuous testing.


In coordination with all stakeholders:

  • Work with Product Management to establish product/feature roadmap and goals to achieve the highest customer value while aligning the product/feature roadmap with other products in the Portfolio Roadmap, managing any dependencies
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure feature vision and breakdown
  • Decide where discovered work (defects or features) get addressed and prioritized
  • Create Release Plans and manage releases, including deciding when to release a product increment


In coordination with the Agile team:

  • Establish sprint goals in coordination with the team
  • Prepares user stories including Acceptance Criteria, and collaboratively elaborate to meet Definition of Ready
  • Attends Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning meetings, providing goals, clarifying stories/requirements
  • Attends Sprint Reviews, gathering stakeholder feedback to change features and priorities
  • Be available to the team on short notice to clarify any questions
  • Attend Daily/Weekly Standups


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare.
  • Six Sigma or SAFe certification
  • Five or more years proven experience in product or equivalent business management with track record of delivering successful products to market.
  • Three or more years demonstrated experience leading teams for product delivery
  • Two or more years experience in a Primary Care
  • Two or more years super user or equivalent experience with Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep understanding of business change management principles.
  • Analytical and data driven decision making capabilities.
  • Experience with modern product management practices and agile methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business or healthcare.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$93,000 - $128,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
