  • Must be able to work 8:30 am - 5pm and be available for on-call and emergency duties.

We are seeking a Senior Residential Program Director to join our team in our team in Philadelphia, PA.

Duties include:
  • Manages daily operation effectively.
  • Implements approved procedural and operating practices within programs under purview.
  • Implements and maintains budget and develops and drives the achievement of profit and loss goals.
  • Reviews financials with program staff to remain on budget or create cost savings as applicable.
  • Ensures contractual, governmental, and payor requirements, as well as Merakey policies, procedures and best practices, are fully adhered to.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth, development, and improvement within programs and region, with other service lines to enhance the coordination of service delivery.
  • Maintains productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical staff, consumers and consumers' families, other programs, outside agencies, and community/region at large.
  • Acts as liaison to the community, including maintaining ongoing rapport with the consumer, family members, and other interested parties.
  • Ensures that the program has implemented and follows through on all quality, compliance, safety, and privacy policies, actions, and improvement plans.
  • Collects and interprets statistical information to monitor program trends and performance.
  • Participates in the marketing, development and expansion of programs (e.g., developing programs and proposals to expand services).
  • Directly supports fundraising and marketing events.
  • People Management/Leadership
  • Directly oversees directors, managers, and supervisors in programs under their purview.
  • Oversees recruitment and new hire onboarding processes, including interviewing and recommending prospective candidates.
  • Provides ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to program and Merakey policies and procedures.
  • Recommends, documents and/or makes decisions in personnel-related matters, including performance review, disciplinary actions, terminations, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develops, ensures, and models collaborative work environment in support of Merakey's Core Values.
  • Creates a culture that fully engages employees and empowers them to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
  • May be accountable for fact-finding and dealing with grievances for violations such as attendance and performance.
  • All other duties as assigned as it relates to the position

Earn $90,000 / annually.
