As the Senior Project Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting following GAAP, overseeing local controllers and other accounting staff, and managing project budgets for a range of industrial, medical, and institutional construction projects. Salary Range: $120, 000 - $135, 000 / year DOE + annual bonus

Senior Project Accountant Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience;8+ years preferred
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting is required;a finance degree may be considered with strong project accounting experience
• Construction industry experience
• Proficiency in systems such as Deltek and Domo is highly desirable
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-regional teams
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with senior management and lead a team

Senior Project Accountant Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and financial operations for multiple branches within the Eastern Region, including locations in Central Florida, Sarasota, and Huntsville
• Manage month-end reporting for the region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
• Supervise the work of local controllers, providing guidance and reviewing their workloads
• Frequent travel (10-15%) for site visits to ensure cohesive operations across locations
• Engage in project accounting for a variety of projects ranging from service calls to large-scale constructions with significant budgets
