Summary
This position requires a strong background in Healthcare Revenue Cycle processes and will use analytical and problem-solving skills to extract, review, and evaluate strategic and operational information to support the System Director Revenue Cycle Operations and the Operations team. Must be able to understand Revenue Cycle operations including government and private payer requirements; managed care contracts, credentialing, general claims processing, patient access, customer service; and financial assistance. Must understand the third-party payer reimbursement programs and have an ability to apply those principles in the implementation of Revenue Cycle analyses. Must also be able to assist with achieving the goals established by the Revenue Cycle leaders and the Chief Financial and Business Services Officer. Examines and analyzes reports for revenue cycle performance to identify areas of potential concern. Responsible for creating positive relations with internal and external stakeholders and assisting System Director with team building and other support as needed. This position will develop and maintain solid working relationships with the Revenue Cycle leadership team and will facilitate performance improvement through analysis of large segments of data. Must apply knowledge of the organization and healthcare along with utilization of Lee Healths revenue cycle reporting system in the development of reliable reports to produce accurate and timely information. Must directly provide support of the performance of department processes. Requires collaboration with multiple internal departments to manage complex and confidential information relating to revenue cycle and patient accounts.

Degree/Diploma Obtained
Program of StudyRequired/
Preferredand/or
B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent; or commensurate education and experience (see other below).
or
CRCP-I or CRCP-P can be considered in place of the degree if obtained within 1 year of hire. Certification is in combination with 5 years of qualifying experience.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and customer relation skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
