Project Manager (hybrid-onsite downtown 2-3 days/week)

JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for building, managing and sustaining a center of excellence effectively. In addition, assist with strategy, guidance, standards, tools, best practices, research, support and training.

We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:

8-10 years of hands on project management experience. Managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope. Developing or updating project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives/ goals, scope, deliverables, success criteria, stakeholders, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Establishing and executing project communication plans. Monitoring or tracking project milestones and deliverables. Submitting project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards via reports. Overseeing projects and guiding internal, client and vendor teams. Working with product owners and product managers to ensure product backlogs are ready for the next iteration. Facilitating discussion, decision making and removing impediments. Forecasting number of deliverables possible in an iteration. Performing risk assessments to develop response strategies. Negotiating with project stakeholders or suppliers. Utilizing project management tools and software. Project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). Driver-type personality, proactive, problem-solving, comfortable adapting to change and operating in an ambiguous environments. Creative thinker, and ability to recognize opportunities, and stimulate internal actions to produce innovative solutions. Strong leadership skills to effectively drive programs, influence idea thinking. Strong analytical skills with keen instinct on how to gather meaningful data and construct persuasive positions. Ability to juggle multiple projects while managing change and shifting priorities. Ability to confidently interact with individuals at varying levels and positions. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Project based work utilizing ServiceNow, Security tools and/or SaaS based tools.
