Senior Property Accountant

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in Austin, TX.

• Salary: $85K-$95K

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with year-end audits and tax returns
• Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in commercial real estate
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, MRI, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
