Position: Senior Python Developer (with AWS and DevOps experience)

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Local candidate, Remote is OK but may need to go to customer office in Los Angeles (California) on need basis)

Hire Type: Fulltime (USC & GC)

Job Description:

• 7-10+ years of hands-on development experience as a Software Developer using AWS and Python
• Experience in working with AWS (S3, SQS, SNS etc.) cloud ecosystem is a huge plus.
• Strong development and architecture knowledge in Python
• Media & Entertainment industry exposure is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Knowledge of delivering applications/solutions on the AWS platform using Lambda, API Gateway. Batch, CloudWatch, Glue, Step function
• Should have strong experience with designing and developing solutions using Python.
• Learn to debug and troubleshoot the running production applications.
• Good to have hands-on experience using Terraform/Cloud formation.
• Good to have, AWS Automation (DevOps knowledge) preferred.
• Participate in technical design discussions, influencing decisions about AWS Architecture.
• Strong analytical skills possess strong written, and oral communication skills, and a willingness to "do whatever it takes" with high energy within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development.
• Detailed experience with Python language fundamentals, able to write both OO and functional style code.
