Our client is seeking an experienced Research and Development Chemist to lead development projects for OTC and skincare products while managing daily formulation activities. This would be a full-time, onsite position out of our client's Fort Lauderdale, Florida offices.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and direct day to day lab formulation activities of OTC and skincare products within scope of projects to support business needs.
• Manage and coordinate day to day lab regulatory requirements for product development.
• Ensure effective communication coordination and communication with Pilot and Quality.
• Assess project feasibility and assign work to lab technicians/chemist based on the degree of complexity and skills required.
• Keep time schedule for submissions to marketing, formula evaluation, pilot schedule, stability, safety testing, etc.
• Interact with customers and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the research and development of OTC and skincare products.
• Proven experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements of OTC and skincare products.
• Experience mentoring and directing team members.
