The Amazon Games BizOps team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Operations Specialist to drive strategic revenue forecasting and analysis. In this pivotal role, you will develop robust top-line forecasts for our games by seamlessly integrating cross-functional business plans, real-time data, and comprehensive market research. Your insights will empower our organization to make informed decisions and propel our business to new heights of success.

As we strive to become the most customer-centric company in the gaming industry, we seek an individual with deep industry knowledge to join our Business Operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience ingesting and refining raw data, identifying key performance indicators across marketing, research, and behavioral telemetry, and designing accurate and scalable forecasting models to drive improved business decision-making at scale. They must possess exceptional written communication skills, the ability to lead forecast optimization cycles with engineering, marketing/operations, and finance teams, thrive under pressure, and manage tight deadlines.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional strategic planning meetings, providing recommendations to optimize profitability, setting global performance targets, and documenting updated forecast assumptions for leadership.

- Build and defend scenario plans that size potential business opportunities using multiple data sources and competitive intelligence.

- Analyze price elasticity and provide recommendations to optimize promotional budgets.

- Proactively monitor and report on major game releases and industry events, keeping your operating partners informed of upcoming risks and opportunities.

- Leverage visual displays (Tableau/Quicksight) to simplify complex quantitative information.

You will have an enormous opportunity to help shape business decisions as a trusted advisor to partner teams as well as Senior Leadership. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with communicating customer and developer experience metrics as actionable insights.

The Amazon Games BizOps org oversees the tools and services that ensure our strategic operating plans continue to remain in lockstep with our financial and corporate commitments as the business evolves.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience presenting to senior leadership

- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
