JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Scheduler's responsibilities include but are not limited to: schedule analysis, baseline administration, contractor's schedule reviews, process compliance monitoring, capital project fund/budget/cost management, change management, status recording/reporting, report development, and cost estimating. This position will report to the Deputy Director of Project Controls or his/her designee.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Scheduler to be based in San Carlos, CA . This position has a hybrid work schedule.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Scheduler's responsibilities include but are not limited to: schedule analysis, baseline administration, contractor's schedule reviews, process compliance monitoring, capital project fund/budget/cost management, change management, status recording/reporting, report development, and cost estimating. This position will report to the Deputy Director of Project Controls or his/her designee.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide scheduling expertise to support the administration of the capital project schedules.
- Assess, propose improvements, support, and advise management and project teams on a comprehensive and integrated system for supporting project schedule controls.
- Assess contractor schedules for compliance with contract requirements, project management process requirements, and common industry best practices.
- Develop and implement procedures for the integration of contractor schedules into the overall project schedule.
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues, and interfaces that may impact project schedules, and support the development of mitigation plans.
- Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring project schedule and cost performance, and related processes such as budgeting, estimating, change management, quality, and others.
- Support the development and update of the Capital Program's procedures, policies, standards, and best practices for managing and updating projects' schedules and baselines.
- Develop status reports for cash flow, cost, estimates, resource utilization, time-phased budgets, milestones, and others.
- Assist in the administration and configuration of Primavera P6 including setting up and managing the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS), project work breakdown structures (WBS), resource structures (RBS), maintaining project baseline budgets and schedules, resource assignments, calendars, project and activity codes, profiles, layouts, and others.
- Prepare schedule related training material and provide training as needed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of scheduling/project contols experience showcasing increasing responsibility and job responsibilities.
- Experience working on capital-funded projects, ideally within rail/transit, is a plus.
- Ability to analyze and inspire innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Experience in helping to lead major programs and projects.
- Ability to liaise with senior executives and project managers.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of organizational ability, capable of pivoting and re-prioritizing to meet changing program needs and deadlines.
- Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications including Primavera P6, Microsoft (MS) word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

- The offered rate of compensation for California will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $110,000-175,000.
