The Security systems administrator is in charge of the daily operation and maintenance of security systems and can handle things like system monitoring and running regular scans in the infrastructure and developing organizational security procedures. This role involves documentation maintenance and participation in disaster recovery planning.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Governance Risk and Compliance
Audits
Calling on security team to ask questions about security controls and policies
Hardening of operating systems
Investigations of security threats
Internal training and awareness
Level 3 support for service desk
Execute remediation plans for cybersecurity issues; harden OS configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

College Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7 to 10 years in network and systems administration (Windows/Linux) and level 2-3 technical support.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Availability for after-hours technical support.
Proficiency in infrastructure technologies (servers, virtualization, networking).
Experience with High-Availability environments and data protection.
Bilingualism (French & English).
Experience creating audits and working in governance risk and compliance
Experience with incident response
Experienced in Level 3 support
