Senior Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate will excel in Java/Scala programming. This role involves full-stack software development, from understanding requirements to maintaining live applications. As a senior engineer, you'll lead by example, mentoring team members and driving innovation. We're looking for someone who can consistently deliver high-quality code, solve complex problems, and help us push our technology forward. The base for this position is $125,000-$130,000.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years development experience focusing on architecture and software design (preferably Java or Python background)
1-2+ years Scala development
Experience working with healthcare data, or in the healthcare industry
Experience supporting cloud environments (preferably AWS)
REST APIs
