Senior Software Engineer - ACTIVE TS CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Springfield, VA (ONSITE)

My client is a leading technology firm in Springfield, VA that's looking to bring on a Senior Software Engineer to the team. This is a full-time position, onsite in Springfield, VA. Candidates MUST hold an active Top Secret Clearance in order to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development and deployment of core technology platforms
• Evaluate and enhance existing systems and cloud service workflows (AWS)
• Solve complex problems to create sustainable and scalable software applications
• Develop modern applications and software to support systems and IT departments

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record of building enterprise-scale software with a modern DevSecOps approach in mind
• Hands-on experience with OOP languages and various web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Deep knowledge of modern Systems and DevSecOps foundations
• BS or MS in Computer Science (or related STEM field)
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Certifications in Network+, Security+, Oracle and/or Cloud Computing are highly preferred
