Job Description:
Senior Software Quality Engineer

The Senior Software Quality Engineer will be part of a team executing NextGen Architecture of Tomorrow dynamic pricing platform running on Google Cloud and interfacing with UPS rating and billing systems. The role requires the Senior SQE to be responsible for testing for multiple scrum teams and participate in end-to-end testing efforts with interfacing scrum teams. The teams operate within Agile SAFe Agile Release Train.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts quality assessment (QA) design and development processes.
• Active participation in all Agile ceremonies
• Requirements review and analysis.
• Defect analysis, management and reporting.
• Collaborates with QA, applications, business analyst and user teams.
• Develops test solutions.
• Provides expertise in testing across the QA organization.
• Develops and implements new practices and testing standards.
• Contribute to project design.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in testing API using POSTMAN, Rest Assured, JSON and REST API
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience in performance testing using JMETER/K6
• Experience in building and maintaining API Automation: Ready API, Postman, SOAP UI, Rest API Assured
• Proficient in testing practices, testing levels, test plans, test script and test data creation.
• Knowledge of Safe Agile Framework
• Knowledge in using Grafana and Dynatrace
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation pipeline
• Knowledge of Java and JSON
• Quality Assurance certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
