Join the First Time Use (FTU) organization as a full-stack Senior Staff Software Engineer with a front-end focus to help our customers grow their business by leveraging the power of QuickBooks and Mailchimp together. We will be leveraging tools across our platform to create seamless experiences that provide recommendations to drive revenue for our customers, enabling them to grow and run their businesses most effectively.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our New York City office two or more days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical vision for FTU with a platform mindset to build reusable components for the use of the whole organization.
  • Responsible for the execution of the FTU vision - insights from customer behavior and research leading to better product and technology optimization.
  • Drive velocity in the organization by accelerating customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and driving key opportunities across the company.
  • Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the organization.
  • Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications and microservices with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics for APIs and experiences.
  • Engrossed in the details of product, tech and architecture in order to co-create a feasible development plan with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Management and Design).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with product management, design and program management) through change management and provide the technical guidance and evaluations needed to maintain high quality product experiences for customers.
  • Define and execute remediation steps to keep the team velocity and deliverables value to customers high.
  • Create robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, effectively implementing them to balance short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of applications.
