  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum five years of experience with configuration design and troubleshooting of medium to large networks.
    • Understanding of network/system infrastructure network principles, cost, coverage, and capacity requirements
    • Intermediate (300 Level) knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 Networking, Layer 4-7 Firewalls, Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF/ EIGRP), Spanning tree (VSTP, PVSTP+).
    • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP/DHCP and DNS
    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Architecture, Active Directory, and GPOs
    • Expert knowledge of Kaseya, ConnectWise, or other RMM platforms.
    • Lead or management experience is a plus DESIRED
    • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
    • Additional certifications such as CCNA, Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Network design, and ongoing review of system configurations
    • Develops system and organizational IT roadmaps that ensure business and service continuity
    • Responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services through the support, design, and development of local area and wide area networks (LAN and WAN)
    • Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
    • Assist in capacity planning, networking devices procurement and support renewal.
    • Management & Design of RMM Platform
    • Have over 5-7 years of experience in administration and deployment of RMM software tools.
    • Working knowledge of ConnectWise Automate are highly preferred.
    • Experience with onboarding and offboarding from RMM platforms.
    • Experience with RMM-centric scripting languages and procedures.
    • Clear understanding of asset management, software inventory management, patching policies, monitoring, and alerting.
    • Experience with backup products such as Veeam, Datto, and Unitrends products
    • A proven generalist that can troubleshoot not only RMM tools but other areas to rule out Server and Networking issues.
    • Lead or participate in IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
    • Assist in the creation and delivery of technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Participate in sales meetings and discussions to provide insights on network design, capabilities, and potential solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Work with sales representatives to identify and qualify opportunities for network services and solutions.
    • Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process to ensure client satisfaction and address any technical queries.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to support ongoing sales and business development activities.
    • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive growth in network services and solutions.
