Responsibilities:

Maintaining open lines of communication with clients regarding planned, ongoing, or prospective projects.

Managing due dates and timelines for tax projects.

Phone and email communication with clients, as well as working with the internal team to get tasks completed.

Preparing and filing tax returns and work papers for clients and partnerships.

Potential for reviewing financial records, statements, and expenditures.

Managing dataflow, workflow for clients, and confidential information.

Assisting with scheduling meetings for Accountants and Partners at the firm.

Various administrative responsibilities - filing, printing, mail handling, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

5-10+ years of experience in a Tax Associate, Tax Support, or related role.

Comfortable managing the workload of clients and partners at the firm.

Experience communicating with clients, Accountants, and Partners on project updates.

Experience managing data workflow, performing documentation, handling payments, and managing deadlines.

Tax prep and return experience.

Microsoft Excel preferred.

Strong communication, time management skills, and interpersonal skills.
