ABOUT THE ROLE

The FOX Business & Data Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our tech team supporting our Business Applications and Data Platforms department. In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our integration systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to sales, finance, human resources, tech, scheduling, broadcast, and operations, to drive efficiency, reliability, redundancy, accuracy, and revenue optimization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide solutions for ad sales processes
  • Analyze existing systems, tools, and workflows to identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth
  • Design and implement business processes and workflows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and FOX objectives
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development coordination, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of system enhancements and bug fixes
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Participate in the QA process and troubleshoot issues when necessary
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to linear and digital ad sales, applying them to enhance our systems and processes


WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the ad sales, media, or technology industry
  • Experience working with senior decision makers
  • Strong communication skills with proven experience as a team player who fosters collaboration and bridge building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements
  • Business curiosity and a thirst for understanding the intricacies of our business
  • Ability to think innovatively and creatively to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions
  • Strong understanding of integration and API patterns, including but not limited to: REST, SOAP, ETL, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud security best practices
  • Experience working with system monitoring solutions, log searching, performance monitoring, and alerting


NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
  • Strong knowledge of ad sales pricing and planning processes and systems, including familiarity with industry standards and best practices
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA,Confluence)
  • Experience with Datadog and Splunk
  • Experience with a linear and/or digital order management system such as Operative AOS and/or Operative.One
  • Familiarity with the following: Lucidchart, Google Suite, Tableau, Salesforce and Service Now
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of digital ad serving (Google Ad Manager & Freewheel)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-146,500.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
