Description

While in this role, you are responsible for all trading and operational duties. The team works closely with the investment advisors and their assistants to process trades, money movements, transfers and general account updates. The execution team acts as a liaison between the advisors and our various custodians/vendors to ensure a cohesive investment experience for portfolio implementation, ad hoc investment trades, portfolio rebalancing and a variety of operational needs. As such, strong communication skills are essential to maintain a seamless client experience. Candidates for the execution desk must possess a strong attention to detail and working knowledge of the markets and various asset classes. In addition, candidates should be well versed in all of the firm's investment software, such as trading & rebalancing systems, custodial interfaces and performance reporting portals.

Primary responsibilities include
  • Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the desk. Responsible for prioritizing requests/tasks with the team, in particular items that are subject to daily time constraints (wires, trades, etc.).
  • Escalate sensitive items with custodian service teams/relationship managers as needed.
  • Monitor group inbox multiple times during the day to ensure all requests are completed or in progress; delegate as needed.
  • Take inventory of all open items and on deck items at end of day to ensure they are assigned amongst the team for the next business day.
  • Ownership of various month end and quarter end reports delivered to Chief Compliance Officer including Monthly Trade Reconciliation Report , Monthly Account Balances Report, and Quarterly Fee Debit Reconciliation.
  • Responsible for comprehensive training of new team members.
  • Assist with special projects on an as needed basis from management (e.g. - internal audits, external audits, etc.).

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience with investment trading software and custodian platforms (Schwab, TD, Pershing)
  • Familiarity with iRebal and Black Diamond software programs preferred
  • Team-orientation with strong ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous understanding of processes/procedures
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5-10 Years of related investment experience required

Hours and Work Schedule:
  • Hours per Week: 40, plus overtime during busy periods
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $118,400 - $177,600 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
