ROLE & TEAM
Our Senior UI Designers excel in blending strong design sensibilities with functional expertise for digital retail experiences.
In this role, you will support the design process from conceptual UI to high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and all the way to development handover and design QA.
A critical part of your role will be to support and grow comprehensive design systems, ensuring that our digital products are compelling, user-friendly, and meet client objectives.
The ideal candidate will have impressive experience creating visually impactful and useful digital retail experiences.
You will support client communication with professionalism, while maintaining open, honest, and trusting relationships with your discipline and project teams.
Qualifications:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• ??Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
• ??3-5+ years of relevant retail and ecommerce digital experience.
• ??A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design across various deliverables.
• ??Proficient in conveying ideas through mood boards, prototypes, and more.
• ??Excellent communication skills.
• ??Understanding of ecommerce best practices, and the ability to consider innovative ways to impact current practices.
• ??Understand, interpret, and implement team and client feedback.
• ??Strong experience with Figma, including prototyping and micro-interactions/UI animations.
• ??Collaborate with developers to implement high-fidelity designs and system components effectively, ensuring high fidelity to the original design specifications.
DESIGN
• ??Expertise in UI design within native and web-responsive environments.
• ??Clear understanding of atomic design principles and platform-specific guidelines.
• ??Deep knowledge of accessibility, inclusivity, and brand evolution in the digital space.
• ??Ability to create seamless designs for web and native apps that exceed project goals.
• ??Understand the limitations of modern development for web and native applications and work with developers to adapt against technical feasibility.
OTHER
• ??Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• ??Additional skills in motion design are a plus.
• ??Experience working with tier-1 and tier-2 brands.
• ??Willingness to travel for client work as needed.
