Insight Global is seeking Mid-Senior level Network Engineers to work for one of our top clients for a short term contract with potential extensions and potential permanent conversion. The WAN Network Engineer is responsible for design and development of network services and technologies to meet client and business unit requirements. Primary objective is to identify optimal networking and communications solutions that deliver long term capabilities, capacity, reliability and resiliency for the business units and clients to successfully maintain and grow their business operations. This role involves understanding of the client and business unit requirements, and designing and deploying optimal networking and connectivity solutions that enable clients and business units to achieve their operational and business goals. You will be responsible for managing partner/client expectations for data communications connectivity and related services to the client's products and applications, throughout project(s) lifecycle. Client expectations include functionality, cost, delivery schedule, support readiness and relationships (usually working directly with senior level technical resources, project managers and business decision makers at client). The company as a whole has issued an RTO mandate and will be a hybrid position in any of the following locations: Milwaukee, WI; Alpharetta, GA; Berkley Height, NJ.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum of 5+ years of hands on experience in design, planning, coordination, and implementation of technology projects among multiple telecom and equipment vendors and customers

* STRONG collaborative, strong written and verbal communication

* Strong experience with layer-2 protocols (Spanning-tree), HSRP, and layer-3 Protocols (EIGRP,BGP), route distribution, router filtering

* Hands on experience configuring MPLS, DMVPN IPSEC VPN, GRE

* Strong hands on experience with Cisco IOS

* Must posses effective and articulate written and verbal communication, and be able to client face with cross-functional groups, internal teams, and clients

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Prior experience with VRF, NAT/PAT

* SD WAN, NX-OS, and firewall experience

* Any networking or Cisco certifications (CCNA or CCNP)
