A client in the Gunter, Alabama area is looking for a Tier 2 Service Desk resource to join their team. The candidate must be able to assist local and remote u with complex IT-related issues and support daily IT operations. A successful candidate must possess solid interpersonal skills (team oriented, growth mindset, flexibility) in addition to high technical aptitude. This position is designated as Mission Essential. He or she will provide user support and troubleshooting as part of a 24 / 7 support team. They will serve as the single point-of-contact for IT interruptions to their end clients command and control. Responsibilities include initial response to incoming incident and request tickets escalated from a variety of system-generated actionable events. This will be an ongoing contract through December 2025 with a pay range of $25-$30/h depending on experience level. During the contract duration Insight Global will provide resources to benefits such as: medical, dental, and vision.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience supporting end-u of networked computers (laptops/desktops)
Experience working with Active Directory
Experience using Remedy Ticketing System
Secret Clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications desired: A+, Network+, or CompTIA Security+ CE etc. DoD 8570 Certified
