Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions is hiring a Services Solution Architect to join our team in Tewksbury, MA.
In this role, you will help solve demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions. As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient.
As a Services Solution Architect, you will work with subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions focused on the on-going service and product sustainment to be delivered on government and commercial programs. In addition to developing solutions, you will help the Government customer understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide complete and consistent architectural leadership in shaping the technical design solution and strategy, with particular focus on service efficiency, maintainability and overall operational sustainment.
  • Work with cross-functional product, business, and functional development teams across Leidos.
  • Lead the capture of the system design requirements for the on-going serviceability of the product.
  • Decompose high-level customer requirements into finer technical, functional and logical requirements.
  • Enhance the serviceability of existing fielded Leidos Security products through the use of data analytics of faults, parts consumption, MTBCF and other key metrics
  • Facilitate identification of key technological differentiators that will enhance our product designs, enable a competitive edge, and increase the probability of a successful, deliverable product proposal that meets and exceeds the customer's needs and leads to program wins
  • Facilitate the design of the system architecture and technical road map for key product solutions. Engages with the development and production teams during program execution and offers oversight and review of requirements capture, validation and test coverage, as well as review of performance/results to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Enhance Leidos best practices; review and incorporate lessons learned.
  • Enhance technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Understand competitor, teammate, and customer technology strengths, weaknesses, and needs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience related to product development, design, and validation.
  • Extensive knowledge in multiple development languages, software development and system design best practices, robotic process automation, infrastructure and configuration automation, testing, tool integrations, and communication to enhance robotic process automation platform.
  • Hands-on experience developing customer integration and reference implementations for complex logistics architectures.
  • Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance our technical solutions.
  • Experience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
  • Experience articulating complex technical concepts to customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with technical documentation and white papers in support of the requirements gathering process.
  • Experience with system design, performance, or support issues and provide advice and recommendations to technical writing staff.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely and in a team environment with other highly skilled individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methods for tracking requirements and modeling complex systems.
  • Experience in modern digital engineering tools such as Cameo, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab,
  • Experience in modern digital methodologies such as Agile, SecDevOps, and Scrum.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • US citizen with an ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
