The ITSM Administrator II shall be responsible to implement, the administration, and continuous improvement of Baptist Health's ServiceNow ITSM platform. This individual will work closely with IT teams and customers to configure and optimize ITSM processes, ensuring that IT services are delivered efficiently, and in line with industry best practices. The Administrator will be a key player in maintaining the effectiveness of the ITSM platform, manage upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and drive the adoption of ServiceNow and ITIL best practices across the organization. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.Description

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience managing a modern IT Service Management application/platform (ServiceNow, Cherwell, BMC, etc.) required.
  • ServiceNow certification preferred
  • In-depth understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management.
  • Highly proficient in the administration, configuration, and customization of ITSM platforms and tools (ServiceNow experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.) to automate workflows and integrate ITSM platform with other systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving service delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret ITSM data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory requirements related to ITSM systems and data protection.
  • Ability to manage relationships with ITSM vendors, including coordinating support and negotiating service agreements
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Experience managing ITSM-related projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
  • Commitment to staying current with the latest ITSM trends, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies and business needs.
