ServiceNow Platform ITSM Developer - TS - Remote

As a ServiceNow Developer, play a crucial role in Identified developer will work in areas of IT Operations Management to include Event Management Integrations of Applications, Orchestration of Incident Remediation, Process & Workflow and Cloud Automation and will be part of Managed Services Platform Engineering team.

Coordinate and support the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions within Federal organizations. Responsible for analyzing business requirements, architecting solutions, and leading the technical implementation of ServiceNow platform capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, best practices, and a strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

IT Service Management (ITSM) is a set of processes used to manage the design, plan, and delivery of services.

Candidates must be US Citizens with Secret clearance required or Top-Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions in alignment with federal government requirements and standards
  • Building solution in ServiceNow for any modules like, ITSM, Portal, Catalog, HR Module, ITBM, SOC & GRC etc.
  • Should have working experience in portal development in ServiceNow.
  • Good knowledge on adding multiple pages and adding widgets on portal in ServiceNow
  • Should be able to build custom widgets as per the need for each requirement
  • Should have knowledge on the domain separation and how portals and catalogues will work for domain separated instance.
  • Establish a strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to define and design Configuration management standards for the technology
  • Ability to automate major processes
  • Interfaces with the customer across executive, platform owner, enterprise architects and development teams during the selling, structuring and implementation of solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to ServiceNow architecture, design decisions, configurations, and integrations
  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Stay abreast of ServiceNow updates, releases, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the platform
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet federal government security requirements and comply with relevant regulations such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations
  • Advocate/champion ServiceNow's advisory and expert services best practices and industry use cases with clients
  • Define solutions across the platform that align to out of the box capabilities

Skills:
  • Have a passion for Programming and problem solving
  • Should have minimum 6+ yrs of experience in servicenow development.
  • Should have knowledge on the Custom application development.
  • Excellent coder using Java, JavaScript's, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap framework
  • Well versed with data exchange formats like JSON, XML
  • Should know how to write business rule, Script includes, Email Notifications,
  • Have knowledge on Server side and client side scripting in Servicenow.
  • Have knowledge on workflow build or modify workflows based on client requirements.
  • Knowledge on Incident, Change, Requests, Catalogs & Tasks
  • Knowledge on building Catalogs, variable sets, Client scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions and ACL.
  • Debugging skill along with coding skills is very important
  • Architect, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications/modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB to meet organizational needs
  • Knowledge on configuration management field and ability to complete difficult and complex assignments.
  • Experience in ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping
  • Provide expertise in integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications within the federal government ecosystem
  • Basic networking skills: Knowledge of Infrastructure / Networking, Networking Protocols, WMI, Subnet masks, SNMP etc.
  • Customer service and communication skills: Ability to work graciously with users while resolving their issues

Experience:
  • Federal clearance required (Secret or Top Secret or TS/SCI)
  • Minimum 5 to 7+ years of ServiceNow ITSM Developer Experience is required
  • Meet and maintain the requirements to work in a FedRAMP environment OR Complete disconnected environment (i.e. undergo a background screening, reside on U.S. soil, and prove status as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or a U.S. Person)
  • Experience working with functional business leaders
  • Experience identifying business objectives and developing outcome-focused roadmaps
  • Enterprise Architect certification preferred (Togaf, IT4IT, etc)
  • Cloud platform certification(s) preferred
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Workflow Platform

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Trusted advisor to executives and facilitate customer success from strategic planning functions including business value identification, road mapping, as well as advising and defining successful execution strategies
